Truly an amazing album. Should've won the grammy. Clipse coming back after all this time to fanfare is more than justified. Pharrell Williams has truly been missing creating a project like this, so it's very refreshing to hear his best come out in this work. Everything feels so satisfying to listen to. No hip hop album has had this range and replayability in a long time. This is so amazing. Truly a perfect listening experience.
Easily one of the best hip hop albums ever made. This one will go down in the history books. Denzel Curry is among the most talented and most spirited of the modern rap game, and he doesn't even rely on heavy hitting features to get it done. But don't worry, there are still plenty of great features on this project. I'm mad that it took me so long to listen to this project.
If it takes four or five years for another project this flushed out and well produced, it will be well worth it. This album captures the best sounds from the melodic blue, builds on them, and trims the fat significantly. The finished project is a project that captures both hype keem and slow keem, and is probably my favorite of an already stacked 2026.
Why is no one talking about this album? Genuinely? It's a top dawg production... and no one has heard this... why?
Vaughn channels his inner Kendrick in this deeply personal, lyrical piece. Although it does lack subtlety, it makes up for it with great production, a deeply intimate sound, and vivid imagery.
