It's almost soul crushingly beautiful. So many songs give me the feeling of dread. Almost as though I'm moving towards my death and it can genuinely fill you with dread that makes it feel that much more real. One of the key features that contribute to this feeling is just how slow and drawn out some of these tracks get. for me, doolittle offers so much sonically that i absolutely love. it's rare for a project to scratch quite literally every itch for me. its got the right speed, the perfect amount of noise, vocals that are belted at just the right level for me to want to scream along to, and riffs and basslines that get me moving without even thinking.
