Comedown Machine is weird. More than a studio album, it feels like a mixtape; it is a collection of 11 tracks that have nothing to do with each other.
Being released exactly two years after their prior album, Angles, I find this one more charming and fun to listen to. Each track feels like it's own unique little world; from the fun and groovy "Welcome To Japan", to the slow and Hawaiian "Call It Fate, Call It Karma".
