Comedown Machine is weird. More than a studio album, it feels like a mixtape; it is a collection of 11 tracks that have nothing to do with each other.

SOPHIE (the record) is conflicting. How does an absolute visionary in music make something so unenjoyable? This record is an absolute hit or miss; the songs either absolutely slap, or feel like a waste of time.

The big disaster of 2021. It would take way too much time to explain each and every single thing this album (and film) do wrong, and it's a shame because, on paper, it's actually potential for a very good concept that brings something good to the world.

Got the game because of this. Still traumatized. 10/10, would recommend.

While I prefer the original songs over these remixes, all of the invited producers did an amazing job here, even the calmest, more serious songs on GRASA become an absolute club banger.

A love letter to a lot of the genres Latin music can take. This thing eats versatility for breakfast, Peluso can really make great traditional and more modern songs.

Despite being tagged as a bedroom pop record, it lacks all of the quirks and personality that this genre can offer and that so many artists have mastered at this point. The tracks sound extremely similar to each other and it all just blends together, not in a good way.

I really tried with this one. At least the production, while uninteresting and basic, sounds good. It's sonically a decent album, I just wish it got exploited more lyrically and it got a personality of its own.

Changed pop entirely. Let's all stand up and thank Ms. SOPHIE XEON.
