This has got to be the most by the book politically charged country song ever. The topic, balladry, singing, and lyrics about missing the 'good old days'. At least make your dumbass agenda sound hard in my ears.
yall must be listening to the wrong thing because WHAT IS THIS MASTERPIECE BLESSING MY EARS
Two voices I would never think to put together but I'm glad someone did. Very well rounded track and a very complimentary cut for both respected singers. Just as good as the original to me. Almost forgot how good of a performer Weyes Blood was because of the lack of output recently. Loved it!
Upon my initial midnight listen, I already knew I was ditching work that day to keep blasting the album.
Stardust marks Danny’s formal entrance into the EDM environment. Thanks to his ability to direct and execute a vision, our unc is still able to make this feature-fest a Danny Brown album at its core. In just 49 minutes, listeners are served an earful of rich personality pie that odes to the contemporary soundscape Pop-Rap and Electronic Dance Music have cultivated. Known for one of ... read more
I do genuinely like a handful of the moments on THCH, the writing is as surface level as can be but is shadowed in underlying emotional turmoil and adds several extra layers to this album than there needs to be. Viper was overrun with addiction and crime at this time in his life which shows. He was in his bag when it came to brewing songs in crowded and rank amounts of tracks that also sounded simple. His signature Cloud Rap production illustrates an okay understanding of how to build a song ... read more
October Country diversifies Haunted Mound into a style of cloud rap that I can only hope to see more of. I'm really glad Ghost Mountain is coming back to save the label because the material we were getting from Hackle, Buckshot and Sematary recently was a bit stale. Also I don't think anyone's mad about Turnabout leaving lol. The recent single's had be extremely excited for this mixtape so it was a great surprise to me that they didn't make it on, turns out it ... read more
WE IN THE HOUSEEEE 🗣️🗣️🗣️
Subject matter and musicality included this song has crack in it.
Carlo Anthony and Bo Jackman cross paths to submit yet ANOTHER release for Boldy James, the detroit rapper has been extremely active blessing his fans with now their third project and he’s doing it with none other than a producer from his state. Hidden in Plain Sight ended up sounding nothing like I thought it would. Learning about Carlo’s work made me a little bit sceptical for a complete Bo Jack Trap project even though we’d heard him give the genre a run for its money ... read more
"Nah this ain't a mixtape but the tape mixed" took the words right out of my mouth there BJ.
I don't trust this website when it comes to the user score so didn't care and I was still going into new Bo Jack with hopes. After two listens now I mean its kind of just eh. So many of the drums on the project sound too soft for the mix which drove me a little insane, the best way I can describe it is if you've ever been at a house party and jumped in the pool and can ... read more
Awful attempt at garnering sympathy. Completely unengaging and boring, the best part about the whole project was Kevin Gates who wasted his energy on an already less than bad song and brought me about 30 seconds of hype in total. Free Blueface sees the rapper recounting his steps but missing a few along the way, he demonstrates the type of math rap that he broke out of the gate with but something is so off about it. I can't really put it in any other words but Blueface genuinely raps like ... read more
Yeah I don't know how I'm going to be able to stomach this new record, each single has been heavenly. Words cannot describe the hype.
Everything about this single is ill-conceived. It surprises me every year that this song is as popular as it is. Maybe my least favourite Christmas song ever.
