Some bops here and there, but otherwise it's a much more boring and safer outing than Future Nostalgia.
Oh naw I'm going to obnoxiously overplay this until I get sick of it, aren't I?

Enjoyed the hell out of post human survival horror so I was super hyped for this. It still has the loud as fuck catchy instrumentals with the hyper screaming that I enjoyed, but it seems significantly less focused. It's overstuffed and some songs end up feeling lost in it all. Plus some songs unfortunately do fall back to the old Bring Me the Horizon that I absolutely disliked. Just bland screaming over bland instrumentals. However, these moments are few and between an otherwise good record.
Bro if someone released this song about me like idk I would simply just never show my face again like how in the fuck do you even recover from this.
Works as a diss track but idk I don't think I'm ever coming back to this as a casual listen.
Certainly much more consistent than their previous work, but not nearly as exciting. Little Dark Age had some career defining ear worms and I just don't think the same applies here. Still enjoyable though.
I mean it's kind of catchy but there's no real sauce here. It's a mindless song that wants to be a radio hit and it's catchy enough to almost warrent it, but not nearly enough to get there
That guitar riff at the end of Let It Happen creams me each and every time.
The rest of this ain't no slouch either. Such an immaculate poppy vibe that you can't help but get lost in.
The RAH RAH-AH-AH-AH ROMA ROMA-MA makes me go feral each and every time I hear it on god fr fr.
Kendrick went really hard on this but like dude why lmfao. It feels like some guy showing up and try harding at a school play like bud go home this mid af song does NOT warrant that kind of energy.
Absolutely fantastic piece of alternative rock. Just wish it was longer or a bit more fleshed out because it just ends too soon in my opinion.
This is for me, what the cool kids call, a "guilty pleasure."
There's like two halves to this album. The nice and vibey half and then the super fucking overblown other half that makes my ears bleed.
I mean yeah it's good but so is mostly every other RTJ song. This one doesn't do anything that special.
