What an insane collaboration, like just the idea of it alone is bonkers. The album is pretty good too, not amazing but I was pretty into it.
Very noisy and weird, but I vibed with it a lot. The percussion on here just makes it even better in my opinion. Strong opening to 2026 I'd say
The whole albums vibe is through the roof. It's insane how big and intense this album is when it's literally just two people, they don't even have a proper drum kit on here and yet it sounds fucking spectacular. Peak Raveonettes, second only to Raven in the Grave.
Aphex Twin continues to change the game by being the first IDM musician to get bitches
Bring Me The Horizon if they were good
This band kicks so much ass, their combo of post-rock/shoegaze/krautrock is so amazing and it's so hypnotic. Definitely recommended listen
Just remembered this dropped, I liked it. I think it'll grow on repeated listens but right now it's a pretty solid industrial-coded album by our drum n bass maniac
EDIT 12/13: 75 to 90. Yeah this DEFINITELY grew on repeated listens, Daniel Avery has struck fucking gold holy shit. It starts so beautifully and then goes straight into chaos but then leaves with some gorgeous shit again. Probably my fav album of the year honestly
I'm not listening to an album with a song called "CANCELLED!" on it, what is this Tom Macdonald?
I literally just found out about these guys but oh my god this EP fucks so hard
EDIT: 85 to 75. It's alright but nothing too special
Some of the songs on here are alright, but how are there still duds after 7 years inbetween records. Can Daron and Serj just make up already and go back to recording more SOAD, tho if their solo material is like this then maybe it's good they split off studio-wise
