Listening to this album was a real toss up because on one hand I didn’t really wanna listen to it at first especially after the user score but on the other maybe I’ll end up liking it and it doesn’t hurt to just listen to it. The sampling on here is really really good and the way he makes the samples each play a different role is really cool. Does get pretty repetitive at times though but it is a really solid song. Cant believe this is the same person who made “Let It B” and if this is only a loosie then I’m excited for whats to come.
I know this review is long overdue but whatever man. The production is pretty cool but doesn’t really come close to that of “been up”. I did find the language change kinda weird but when’s the last time you’ve seen 2 guys rapping on a 2hollis type beat in Spanish? Overall, had its decent moments and it had its basic moments. Didn’t really do much for me to be honest but a cool single!
I always meant to listen to this album first instead of the third installment in the trilogy, “DARKLIGHT” but after a month after listening to that project I finally decided to check out this one which is considered their best and even mind blowing from what I heard.
