A quick follow up to “We Don’t Trust You”. Unfortunately this is nothing new but rather feels like a never-ending road trip with too many pit stops.
Bryson Tiller comes back from a 4 year hiatus just to deliver another mediocre project that starts out somewhat strong in the first half then absolutely tanks by the end.
Ah yes, the dynamic duo is back although this seemed to me that this is just another album that delivers on its promises but fails to leave a lasting impression…
A rather slower, but somewhat satisfying new short LP from ‘Majid Jordan’.
Kinda glad they switched it up here.
This is really swifts best LP in my opinion and it’s once again a nice refresher that this is a redux.
The vault tracks are legitimate.
Although Drake does in fact finally put effort into some of these tracks, the album as a whole is just bogged down by the 2nd half which is mainly filler tracks that just shouldn’t be on here.
This would have been a much better project if it was cut in half and all the good tracks in the first half were kept.
Simple record thats accompanied by beautiful, soulful samples. It’s a vibe.
No question about it, Lil Yachty has been the artist of the year so far and this just proves he’s not slowing down anytime soon.
It’s been a long 6 years since we’ve gotten any sort of LP from Roy Woods.
‘Mixed Emotions’ is well…mixed emotions. It starts off solid and strong in the beginning but sometimes fails to stay consistent all the way through, but this is at least sounds like an improvement compared to what we’ve heard in the past and we can finally appreciate what Roy is really capable of on some of these tracks.
The 5 year hiatus is finally over. ‘UTOPIA’ has finally been released to the world. This is it. A star studded cast makes appearances here and there. Maybe this will (hopefully) age like fine wine but this will of course draw mixed opinions from everyone because this LP wasn’t afraid to be all over the place.
Probably Postys most personal (and possibly best?) album yet. It seems he’s moved himself away from forcing that “pop radio” sound that we were all familiar with regarding his last couple LPs and this is something that sounds like it was recorded straight from the soul. I dig it!
We’ve came a long way from ‘White Iverson’.
A polished refresher of an album that really shows how much Taylors voice and production has changed throughout the years
‘Pink Tape’ sounds like you took some drugs and took a really weird and wild trip.
Berlioz often releases periodic singles here and there that are often extremely pleasant to the ear leaving people starving for more.
Now coming through with an incredible EP filled with jazz/house tracks that will make you feel like you’re in your own movie, I really hope Berlioz is here to stay and I’m looking forward to hearing what’s next in the future.
Even though this was a very highly anticipated album especially considering “Young Thugs” current situation, I’m not too crazy about this album.
