This record has a lo-fi vibe to it that amplifies the electronic dance production. The synths and bass have a feeling that brings a head-bopping effect to the tracks. The vocals have singer-songwriter and lo-fi tone, often taking a quieter volume. However, the production and style is very repetitive on this piece, though it’s a style I can enjoy. Overall, this record is a nice indie listen, despite its repetitiveness.
This record has a futuristic sound and feeling that stands out throughout the project. The production has an artistic pop feel with electronic dance music straight out of 2018 hip-hop music. This record is an atmospheric expansion of the pop genre. With often ambient and baroque elements, the production and composition of the album is lush with pop and singer-songwriter influences. The lyricism has a poetic nature, fusing well with the production. The vocals are heavenly, displaying the poetry and melodies in an angelic way. This record is filled to the brim with sexual undertones and such. The production is probably the best thing about it, with poppy tunes and country influences from Jack Antonoff. The lyricism has, as said before, many sexual themes and undertones throughout the record. My main complaint is that the tracks themselves were very formulaic, with a repetitive formula I didn’t enjoy too much. Overall, this record, though a mixed bag, has a passion behind it that affects the music itself.
This record has an atmosphere similar to that of a Disney orchestra. The guitars and jazz influences on the pop basis give this project a sense of personality. The lyricism holds influence from singer-songwriter music, often speaking of love and heartbreak. Overall, this record feels like a fairytale gone wrong in many musical ways.

This album has a slow pace that is soothing to the ears and meaningful to the mind. The lyricism and tone is melancholic, and eases in the folk genre as its main focus. Although, the record does have many influences of jazz, pop, and rock that are very prevalent throughout the project. Overall, this album is a incredibly unique piece of work and a beauty of its genre.
This record is a phenomenal project filled to the brim with experimentation and innovation. It takes a folk basis, with guitar and mind-bending vocals within each of the tracks, as well as lush production that sends chills through my body. Throughout the album, there are some experimental hip-hop elements within, mostly introspective verses from Quadeca himself. The songwriting and lyrics have a sort of beautiful despair within them. This record is an odd experimental project that, while doesn’t hold up as well in song quality in my opinion, making for a reasonably well-made experience. The art-punk and noise rock instrumentals and nauseating psychedelic vocals make for great tone creation. Overall, though it could use some minor tweaks, this record is a standout in this year’s art rock catalog.
This record is a stellar hip-hop piece in many ways. Pusha T and Malice deliver introspective meaningful verses in relation to personal growth and emotional experiences. The production form Pharrell Williams is incredible, and boosts the experience of the record tenfold. The features on this record also bring their own unique performances. Overall, this record’s experience is an ethereal one in the hip-hop scene, and is an impeccable masterpiece in my opinion.

Overall, today we're going to be talking about wonder drugs of the 90's, and what kinds of drugs we can expect in the future.
This record contains an oddly psychedelic experience, mainly focusing on folky rock and some pop rock elements. It’s nothing too special, but is a nice listen and has some very catchy tunes. While it is a bit different from his previous discography and widely considered to be ‘playing it safe,’ and not doing anything too experimental, I think that’s what makes it still feel experimental. Overall, though an outlier in his discography, Alex G did an amazing job on this ... read more
This record is a simple collection of short songs that, while doesn’t stick out, still is a good album. The album has a lo-fi vibe that could be used as music to fall asleep to, in a good way. The instrumentation is simple as well, with mostly just bass, drums, and another instrument. Wonder what that could be? The tracks often speak of love & life in a wise manner. Overall, while simple, this record is something to appreciate and ponder.
This record feels like a magical darkness, with its beautiful storytelling and ethereal vocals from Hayden. The album has an ambient vibe and melancholy tone, delivered through brooding instrumentation and lyricism. Overall, this record is an experience like no other I’ve heard before; highly recommended.
