i'm disappointed, how could this mixtape be this boring?
before the antagonist tour they decided to drop another project,
and obviously, i was waiting for something energetic and dark, something for crazy moshpits, but for god's sake, they decided to recreate snot or not with even less energy and quality.
the first couple of tracks were somehow enjoyable, but after it just feels like a completely rushed mess.
this mixtape has the same length as ken carson's last album, but i can't even sit ... read more
i've heard about the rolling stones, but i never listened to their music or knew even what genre they are pursuing.
so this will be my first and full listen to an album from the rolling stones.
so what can i say about my first impression?
it's very colorful, fruity and nostalgic, just a great mix between pop rock and blues.
i like how they did outros to every song, they are so interesting and it gives you that little reward for sitting down to the whole song. it does sound a bit outdated, ... read more
i was worried that quavo would release another commercial rap album on the hype of takeoff's death, but it turned out to be quite the opposite.
it's a very diverse album, despite the fact that it all takes place within the same genre.
quavo has squeezed the absolute maximum out of the genre: production is top notch, energetic and catchy flow, sincere lyrics, and some solid features.
rocket power pleasantly surprised me and I'm glad that quavo is back after a rough stretch of events with a ... read more
it's definitely an improvement from X and Project X.
i can see the conception, the new style, the new sound and everything, but i feel like second part of the album is just more repetitive and worse then the first one.
and also, rockstar lifestyle should be an intro, cause why did this mf says to me "im bouta drop my album" while im literally at the end of this album.
offset proved on this album, that he can make bangers. but those bangers are mixed with some boring and completely average rap tracks.
oh my, this album has no right to go that long.
yebba's heartbreak is absolutely beautiful tho.
it's not that bad, but still underwhelming. background music at its finest.
i don't feel like this one was necessary
around 2 months ago or less lancey revealed tracklist for this mixtape, and i went on youtube to listen to some snippets. and i was kinda disappointed, cause all of them sounded somehow the same. i thought "maybe it's just these ones, so we will see when the album drops". to say I was upset is an understatement. nearly ALL of them sound the same, besides the outro.
i won't say that this mixtape is bad, but it just adds nothing interesting or ... read more
this is a mixed bag for me. it has one of the best tracks from drake and one of the worst ones to ever touch my ears. and the conception of the album is just to give his fans some more tracks? okay then
i hope tha carter six album will be better than tha fix before tha six
half of the album is good rage songs with great production and energy
and the other half is just luh calm beats
it gets repetitive at the end, but still a solid one from opium boys
i wish this album was something more than repetitive don toliver vocals on heavenly beats
