A very solid release from one of hip hops greatest producers and minds. This is a very vibey project that really sucks you in with great samples and trippy beats and, overall, is a great album when you want to sit back, chill, and take in some high-quality work from a hip-hop legend. To call this album dreamlike would be an understatement. This album comes frighteningly close to perfectly conveying what a dream from a deep deep sleep feels like. But not just any dream, one of those dreams that are just north enough of reality so as to not arouse suspicion, but still strange enough to make the whole experience feel equal parts disorienting and enchanting. A great album with fantastic production and killer verses from the late great MF DOOM. The only major problem with this record is the somewhat unfortunately aged skits from Adult Swim. While some of them have their charm and fit the songs well enough, others range from mildly irritating to straight-up awful.
