this album is such a good homage to the past 10 years of car seat but yes embraces the experimental future of the band however it is paced pretty weak
Based on first listening (so open to change) this album is inconsistent for one, the sound is a good evolution from their last LP, however you find Peach Pit changing their sound throughout the album, with some really weak tracks paired with some of their best work yet. and some of the songs just do not seem like they belong on the same record as some of the others, but it is saved by the good songs on the album. these songs like shampoo bottles. second life with emily and you and your friends ... read more
probably their weakest yet, idk just like nothing really stood out and overall falls flat this music ain't really my thing but i can get a little enjoyment out of it i suppose as it does start of very strong
