this album is such a good homage to the past 10 years of car seat but yes embraces the experimental future of the band however it is paced pretty weak
Based on first listening (so open to change) this album is inconsistent for one, the sound is a good evolution from their last LP, however you find Peach Pit changing their sound throughout the album, with some really weak tracks paired with some of their best work yet. and some of the songs just do not seem like they belong on the same record as some of the others, but it is saved by the good songs on the album. these songs like shampoo bottles. second life with emily and you and your friends ... read more
probably their weakest yet, idk just like nothing really stood out and overall falls flat this music ain't really my thing but i can get a little enjoyment out of it i suppose as it does start of very strong
very good very early psychedelic folk, it has some stand out songs like eyes of a dreamer and look at your game girl but also has a lot of trash

its kinda fun and reminds me of some good times but overall its weak and very flawed
my hate boner for tame contuines, ok im writing this with like 4 songs left, and i doubt theyre gonna blow me away, while the style is nice it really seems to lack substance. the style is very similar to his previous records which is fine, however it doesnt feel like their is any growth at all. it genuinely feels like a bunch of B sides from currents. i dont like currents but why would you listen to this when currents exists,
i feel like the only person who can't stand this album, i've tried to hard to like it but oh my god i sound like a boomer but it's just so lame
i don't get it, it all sounds the same and not in a good way, it's just so generic and i know it's an unpopular opinion
gripping creative and beautiful, one of the best things ever composed, only complaint is it goes on for too long
