best song I've ever used as my phone call melody (from the "Now it's like the world owes u" part)
what can I say about this album that hasn't been said before? It is nearly perfect. Has some weak moments but in my opinion if u listen to this from start to finish u'll fall in love with this. So many bangers, so many great themes and lyrics. It is truly a masterpiece. I also love the soundscape of this project. From dance bangers to orchestral mind-blowing songs to spoken-word stories, this album mixes a lot of different sounds together. An unbelievable experience. There's ... read more
y'all know what, this album is not bad
it is definitely a step down compared to his last record, The Slow Rush, but it's not terrible. It's just mid/slightly good. The writting here is a lot worse than on previous albums, sadly, with lines like "now I'm mr charisma, fuckin Pablo Escobar" or "I'm watching Family Guy", like dude, do people really watch family guy, uhhh, I mean just say u're watching a show or smth cause this line is so cringe, ... read more
hella underrated these days. Really brings me back, I wish more people would remember this today. About the song, it's a catchy dance pop tune with a really memorable lead melody (especially on post-chorus) using trumpet. I can't say a lot about the song, to me it feels pretty standard but good. 77/100
Incredibly lighthearted. The chorus is beautiful, verses by Doom are really nice too. A pretty simple, yet pretty awesome song. The instrumental is also fantastic. Such an underrated piece of art, man, this should've been a lot, like A LOT more popular. Hope more people will discover this gem. 90/100
DAMN.
I'm absolutely shocked bro this shit fire. Currently Gorillaz are 2 for 2, still pretty sure next album is gonna be their best since Plastic Beach

this is one of their best songs ever. Grew on me as u can see. Idk what they put in this but this song is unbelievable. Such a crazy mix of genres. Always gets me hyped up. Album's gonna be generational
it's a perfect rap song and there can't be any debate here
So that’s the same album but with a new song, huh. I don’t have any physical releases of tnnan, so I had to go to youtube hoping somebody else uploaded it there. And I was right, there actually was 2 uploads. So, the question is “Is ADHD (hopeful) good and is it on par with the og tracks?”. Well.. yes and no. It starts pretty nice, but around 1 minute and 25 seconds becomes kinda messy. After that there’s a transition to a drum solo. And that drum solo is alright ... read more
I’m glad I have ears
I’ve never heard shoegaze before tnnan. I just saw a cool cover art on somebody’s last fm page and thought “wow what a cool album, gotta see what people think about it before listening”. Went on aoty, saw reviews, they were pretty nice, so I decided to give this a spin. And boy, I did not expect some of the best music (that I’ve heard/will ever hear) to bless my ears back then. This album is just so beautiful. I’d say there’s ... read more
FOB's Start Today is a cover of a Gorilla Biscuits song with the same name. It's not like an entierly different sounding song, actually it's more similar than different to the og. The problem is it's just less fun. I like Patrick's vocals here, the instrumental is almost the same, the track is just way cleaner than the og so it has a lot less energy imo. On the og the vocalist sounds like he's doing it cause he likes to, like he's here to spread fun, but ... read more
IN THE END I HOPE IT'S U & MEEEEE 🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥
Kevin still got it, maybe his new music is different from what he used to create before, Dracula in my opinion is absolute fire and the best single from the new album yet. Although I think the song needs a bit more punch to it in the chorus or at the end. After all, this is an 83/100. Super catchy, super dance-y and overall great
edit: cover art is fire too
might be the worst song I've heard this year
Sons of Legion (whoever they are) mixed country with just a bit of rock to make this.. something. This is the next level of co-worker music. Everything is unoriginal here. Bland 2017 Imagine Dragons lyrics mixed with divorced-dad-in-his-40s-instrumental can be heard on this track mixing into an abomination. Also, these vocals (espesially in the post-chorus) are mixed so poorly, it hurts my ears. Hope I'll never hear anything made by these ... read more
Arctic Monkeys' The Car is the first project by them I fully listened to and I gotta say it's pretty good. The sound of the album feels really aristocratic and expensive but also mysterious sometimes. The mysterious vibes could be heard on tracks like There'd Better Be a Mirrorball, Sculpture of Anything Goes and Big Ideas (kinda), my personal favorite. I just really like the soundscape of the tune and its idea. The project also has some fun songs like Body Paint, I Ain't ... read more
