hold my head touched me in ways that I could never imagine since listening to JPEGMAFIA for the first time. The other beats are still a treat to listen to. thanks kenny very cool
The glitchy production is amazing. Even when it's less chaotic than his 2020 debut EP, SWEET GENESIS, Metaroom shows that he's a very versatile breakbeat producer, combining many sounds that I would never imagine into a one-of-a-kind listening experience (literally too. There are sound collages in this LP).
Please take a moment to listen to this. I'm so glad to be a Metaroom fan rn.
The best thing to happen to music anime since sometime idk I don't watch a lot of music anime. Bocchi is my spirit animal she's just like me fr fr
I want to like it more, but I felt slightly disappointed as the release of the LP is confusing to me. The tracks are fine on their own, but this LP was a bumpy listening experience because it's like SMITHEREENS meant to have some progression, judging from the track titles, but the track list got scrambled together for some unknown reason. I can't see why songs like Feeling Like The End are in the same project as NIGHT RIDER and BLAHBLAHBLAH DEMO. There's too much diversity of genres and styles ... read more
Timmy Tom: Hello 6’clock news [or whatever news reporters say in a given timeframe], we have breaking news that TinTool finally rated a POPULAR POP album with the last major pop album he rated being from HARRY STYLES, 5 MONTHS AGO. Rumors have stated that TinTool rated Midnights out of pure boredom after weeks of grinding out the homework he dreaded to work for a high school he regrets attending to, and hopefully with another news reporter on the line, we will get to hear TinTool’s ... read more
Guys, how do I even rate this album for the TND Approved Random Album Challenge? The bandcamp page is gone and I bet only very few people around the world still owns the album there’s no way bro 😭
Obscure, dreamy future bass tracks with a touch of riddim that should be given more attention, and linear ring deserves more attention. Compared to most EDM he doesn’t follow a trend that’s bound to age and poorly. A lot of his stuff is timeless compared to the average EDM project standing the test of time, and this EP is another great addition in his discography.
This is like drinking two 5-hour energy bottles in rapid succession, swallowing some flintstone gummies on the side, and then mining the shit out of Donald Trump's Star on a summer night of 2018. It sounds so oddly specific, but Death Grips DESIGNED their albums to make you feel like the biggest, unstoppable threat to society.
Jesus Christ. the sound design is so good, but this album nearly broke me. Considering this was made when Kikuo was at his lowest point, it just made the vibes so much darker and melancholy
this is quite the silly breakcore ep from an artist that I never heard of before, and then you have a potential SOTY: Starfields
how have I not listened to this sooner? this is one of the most interesting electronic albums that I've ever heard
This is fire on mute. 🔥
Should've stayed in the drafts. 🔥
This shit will never get us out of the hood. 🔥
I saw MC Ride chilling in a sleeping bag under the freeway babbling to himself. It's awesome that with all the success he's still so humble! 🔥
I like this EP that nobody has heard of before until now. Not just because of the conveniently placed anime girl swimming with deep sea creatures, but I love its hardcore (EDM) melodies that goes more intense and crazier the deeper you go and listen. You know, like a deep ocean dive?
I hope I'm not the only one hyping this EP lol
