Just as gross and grimey as I expected but not at all as depresso espresso as I thought it'd be.
Honestly? A bit of a disappointment for me Sure it's a fucked up listen but it didn't really punch me like I expected it to after all the hyping up the internet goers who have heard it have done. Really drags on too.
Incredibly ethereal. Who needs a radiohead album when their side projects the last few years have all been bangers?
It's super goofy and kind of funny - everything about it is very off-kilter. I understand it's super weird and "ahead of its time" for lack of better words. After a while though, I kinda realized that it just doesn't do a whole lot and boy does it overstay its welcome.
I've now officially hit the 1000th addition to the "Unique, Interesting, or Otherwise Weird as Fork" user list! And to be quite frank I thought I'd have something interesting to say about this album. It didn't feel quite as heavy and depressive as many had me believe - especially since "No One Is Ever Going to Want Me" appears in all those 'disturbing songs' iceberg slop videos. Dang I went in blind and I didn't really know what to expect going in since it's been a while since I gave LP1 a listen (and don't remember much atp). I haven't really stopped! Truly gorgeous, lush album with some peculiar choices. I don't really understand what people are saying about the vocals, I think they work perfectly with the instrumentals.
