A great introduction album for hip-hop. It has great lyrical content, storytelling, and production. It doesn't branch away from the standards of this genre so it's very accessible and it has very solid fundamentals.
Circles is so beautiful; there's not a single thing I would change about it. To start off, Mac's vocal performances are perfect on this project. His lyrics convey so many emotions (especially during his softer tracks) and it's so incredibly moving. On top of this, the instruments compliment the gentle percussion perfectly and combine with the vocals to create some of the greatest tracks of all time. You can truly hear his heart being put into every aspect of this album.

Throughout the 10 years this album has been out, it has consistently stayed in my top 5 albums of all time. I would listen to this album every single day growing up in the shower at night or right before I went to bed and it has helped me through many rough parts in my life.
