In the beginning I felt like this album would be outdated by now, but the production still stands and yeah sure some songs may scream out 200s type vibe but shut up this album's good
Every single song is so good like goddamn man. Alright time to go back to working on my math hw.
Fantano really wasn't lying when he said this was just a worse version of Lil Peep lmao
When Gorillaz released Momentary Bliss as their first single, I was blown away. Not just Momentary Bliss but possibly almost every single they released. This album to me feels like if it was Humanz, but done right and didn't have a theme to it, which is not a bad thing. This led to a full collection of different type of genres like rap, pop, rock, etc. I would say more but I gotta get back to doing my hw or else Imma fail.
Remember when people were so hyped that Gorillaz were finally making another album? Man, I miss those days but now it's almost been 4 years after the release and my God are half these tracks good and half of them either boring, bad, or just eh. I have no idea what Damon was thinking when he made this record and when he decided to make a Gorillaz album that really isn't a Gorillaz album.
Man, I remember watching the mv for up on melancholy hill as a kid. I was so confused like, "Why she shootin the plane?"
This album is almost 15 years old now, and every track has aged like some fine ass wine.
Incredible album, every song is so well made and crafted. The whole album is just so well paced and goddamn it is just so good. I'm feeling a light 6 on this one.
I discovered this album when I was on a road trip with my family and I was listening to music on my soundcloud. I slept and when I woke up I heard Oliver's voice but this wasn't the same Oliver we knew today. This Oliver wasn't Oliver Tree but simply, Tree. The songs are good and chill to listen to and is surprisingly very different then the Oliver we know today.
Pretty good. Love every track besides Cash Machine and I don't think Introspective is a bad song but it felt like it didn't fit the album
