I'm a big fan of the Memphis sound, and this album legitimately stands out alone with it's super laid back style. The production is just amazing, and the album is pretty consistent throughout.
The production style doesn't feel as powerful to me as Take Me To Your Leader or Vaudeville Villain, and the latter half of the album has some slow points, but the run from Doomsday to Tick, Tick... is legendary. I can see how it cemented the beginning of MF DOOM's success.

Short, so every song feels like it counts. No bloat at all. Great production, crisp vocal samples that really send a message. This LP got me into Freddie Gibbs, and reminded me of the greatness of the Alchemist. A great duo, wish I could hear more.

Not the most comfortable listening experience if you're doing it front to back.
