I did not listen to this album. I just wanna say bbno$ went to my college for a end of the semester concert last spring. I didn't actually end up going to it. I do remember wanting to go and playing some of his stuff in my car to familiarize myself with him. anyway have y'all seen BB when it comes to tracking Spotify monthly listeners and other stats? he's really good at that stuff and really good at explaining it actually. I don't know if I wanna listen to this though. ... read more
some decent tracks on here. really feels like kenny was going for the clout with this album though. very pop esc
Can't believe I never reviewed this. This is really good though. I love her voice and I love the duster vibes. Good sad album. The middle I get a little lost but beginning and end are strong
I lowkey was a little disappointed with this one because of how much I love 3D country and heavy metal (Cameron Winters solo record). I think taxes is still my fav off the album. Songs like Cobra, getting killed, Au pays du Cocaine, and the last track were also instant favs but I just wish they were less jam band riffy and more catchy and fun like the previous album. Also I like that Cameron winter is adopting his solo singing style on this new album but it just doesnt hit as hard when not ... read more
honestly if they included silver springs on here and removed songbird this could be a 10 competitor for me
It is really nice but almost one note. Good vibes on all tracks even some standouts.
Ive never heard clipse before because i wasnt into "music" when they mainly released stuff. I had this thing on repeat though the day it came out. the birds dont sing, chains and whips, pov, fico... god theres so many good ones. lyrics on here are great too. crazy take but as much as i love pharrell the beats on here could have hit harder on certain tracks. thats kinda the only thing keeping me from really loving this thing
Now that the hype has died down I can admit that the album still hasn't grown on me. There are a few songs that I would put on like waging ware, godstained and monday but other songs like "I dream about sinking" which is just a mess of boring pads and ambient sounds as well as the last two tracks "forgone" and "casper" that overstay their welcome in track time. Can't forget about dahny browns most uninteresting feature ever. Like what are we doing here ... read more

might be a short tracklist but every song on here is just perfect. (cough cough eternal summer doesn't exist) (jk)
yeah this is pretty solid. always the lead singers of these new and upcoming bands just making a solo project better then anything their old band had ever done. Last year we had greep and Cameron. Lets hope Isaac comes back from bcnr next! (lol prob not)
Girl what. Danny carried. 8485 is trying so hard to be charli. the beat just also comes off as amateur and doesn't hit as hard where it should. 8485s ad-libs or whatever a lil weird. if I'm correct 8485 doesn't produce any of her shi and it's like she's got a new person producing for her every new song which is just a huge consistency problem. I think some better production on the beat and her vocals would have leveled this up so much. too bad the result is just kind of ... read more
Alright I'm just gonna start this off by saying I don't like metal so all metalheads that will be offended by this review have been "warned" lol.
To start this review off let's talk about the singers voice. He's not really screaming, but he's not singing or anything either. He's just in a weird in-between where I can't hear what he's saying, and the style is just so outdated, like an 80s hair metal thing.
Couldn't fall in love with any of ... read more
My mom played this album a ton growing up so coming into this thing I knew about every song on here. one things for sure is this has got a lot of replay value because of its easy listening formula that most songs on it follow.
when I came into this as I listened to it for the week i tried to pinpoint what makes these songs so great. I had come to the conclusion that the singers voice and surprisingly the forward sounding drums which were placed right in our faces in almost every song carried ... read more
I couldn't help but notice that this guy sounds SO MUCH like the singer from third eye blind. he also really wears his influences on this album heavy. I think the only song that feels truly Jeff rosenstock here is 3 summers. I'm hearing smashing pumpkins in guitars, green day, maybe some blink-182, the strokes even.
what me and my friends concluded Is that Jeff is really good at making anthems and singable choruses. but his lyrics on this thing, although they seem sincere and from a ... read more
I'm not gonna come in here with an official rating cuz I'm here for demons and radioactive which are GOOD SONGS. I really don't understand the hate. maybe it's just the nostalgia talking but like come on guys. someone come in here and please tell me why they suck so bad. and like their song enemy, specifically "arcane's remix" is really nice! they're tackiness definitely shows with a few hits like thunder and believer but these guys were never meant to ... read more

ratings:
Shine on you (1-5) - 100
Welcome to the machine - 70
Have a cigar - 90
Wish you were here - 90
Shine on you (6-9) - 80
this thing is nearly perfect, the only thing holding it back is that welcome to the machine just drags on a little too long and the synths Richard wright brought in seem to take up too much space to the point where it feels a little obnoxious at points. but other then that the synths are perfectly placed in the album. It's also ... read more

I keep coming back to this and I can just honestly say there's nothing like this out there and there was so much thought out into the album. So replayable too
original review:
I was very surprised on how well thought out the concept and track listing of the album was. such a smooth listen all the way through. This feels so much more mature and inspired over his previous work. You can tell he really found his niche with this dive into a folk-like pallette and ... read more
I've listened to this album over and over for the past year and I still can't understand why people love this guy so much. Jeff has a great voice but his verses are really boring and adds nothing to most songs. and alot of songs on here run way longer then they should. Like we could have had like 2 interludes in lilac wine and corpus Christi carol but those songs were so drawn out making it even harder to sit through this. It has its bangers, and I really enjoy songs like last goodbye ... read more
