Veryyyyy different genre to what I'm used too, but honestly this is pretty great even as an entry to this sort of sound !
While the listening experience is hardly a bad one, sonically the album doesn't do enough interesting things for me to feel too positively towards it. The tracklist does provide a few highlights, but even they don't inspire much replayablity outside of the album as a whole.
Jonatan is a solid project, but Lean has shown that he can do better and I don't find much reason to come back to this.
Started writing a review, but music put me to sleep and when I woke up realised there is basically nothing worth writing about…
Production is lack lustre, Boldy occasionally has moments of intrigue but even then I struggle to keep my focus for an entire track.

Energy hardly describes it. Abrasive sounds of punk with songwriting that walks the line of sincere anger and tongue-in-cheek delivery really well. It surprisingly never comes off as cheesy and its messages are heard loud and clear. But the sheer personality of the record prevents the mostly naked messaging from being preachy to the point of sermon. It’s communal fustration, it’s in your face, and most obvious of all, it’s fucking FUN!

The murder capital, what a name. It evokes such a emotion and as a phrase of protest feels so powerful. I wish the music held up to those expectations.
While lyrically the album sure does have its moments (even if they feel few and far between), the album itself comes off as surprisingly numbed due to a weird lack of effective sound progressions.
