SOAD‘s self titled is a loud, messy and enthralling experience. I had no idea going into this but I really enjoyed it.
I love the ‘chaotic’ aspects of this album, mostly the vocals; Serj is amazing and his vocals are uniquely goofy and catchy.
Lyrically, it's very dark, but is integrated alongside Serjs performance perfectly; despite the slight goofy tone of the album.

This album has given me a ‘sweet tooth’ of sorts for metalcore recently, so I've been non-stop listening to the genre for the past month.
But everything i try, nothing seems to really hit me like this does.
Bryan Garris’ vocals are a really big sell for me, and scratch an itch no other band seems to do. Those drums just feel so satisfying to listen to as well.
Favs: Suffocate, Don't Reach For Me, Slaughterhouse 2.
