An album for the gays who dress like slutty paper boys. Look, the guy is talented, but this album blows. The breathy tin can voice only works for so long, and now I just find it grating. The lyrics are tired. The musical interludes within a few of the songs were nice to hear, but overall I'm bored of Sufjan at this point. Cmon man, change it up. I know you've got the talent.
Aesthetically one of the greatest video games ever made. The glitchy soundtrack does a wonderful job of reflecting the brutal, hyper-polished city it inhabits.
Katana Zero was developed by Askiisoft, who also happens to be responsible for the barely-known flash game "Tower of Heaven"; a game which had a strangely amazing 8-bit soundtrack. So, I'm not entirely surprised that this soundtrack is as good as it is. I actually don't know if there's a better EDM video-game soundtrack out there. Dark rhythms and violent pulses; this music perfectly accompanies the neo-noir phantasmagoria of the game.

When we talk about video games as art, this is what we mean. There's no pretension here; Gris is a one-of-a-kind media experience. The gameplay is dynamic, the watercolor art style is gorgeous, and the music is absolutely astounding considering this is a lesser-known indie game. If you want to feel like a human again, play this game. Although, listening to the soundtrack would do the job just as well.
