On Paak's newest project, he brings out his traditional jumpy vocals and his smooth and melodic rapping over groovy funk with a diversity of instrumentals. Perhaps it is best for Paak to continue his free range on his next project.
Painfully long listen that just feels like I'm listening to the same song over and over again. The only admirable performer on this album is ironically the least recognized Migo but Takeoff cannot even save this album from the oversaturation.
J Cole self righteously and boringly preaches his way through the first half of this album and unfortunately this project takes too long to really gravitate towards what he is trying to say. It is ironic the one time J Cole uses a feature is when that feature is just a deep voiced and unnecessary verison of J Cole himself.
Instrumentally, this is Rocky at his most experimental and ambitious, but unfortunately lacks focus and cohesiveness.
