Alright,OK here we go.
Jane Doe by Converge is the best album by one of my favorite bands. It's chaotic Like a Dissociative Episode. The album doesn't just describe pain; it simulates the inability to process pain. That's why the vocals are smudged You physically can't read them clearly.thoughts and memories overlapping into an illegible mess and songs crash into one another. Riffs don't resolve; they collapse into feedback. You never get a "safe" moment to ... read more

It's really nice to see some punk influences on this album i gotta say the samples and lyrics are used quite well to convey the general idea about the situation in America even though I don't actually watch the news or live in America i can see the implications on vince staples lyrics mixed with catchy hooks.
Overall a great contender for AOTY.
I would describe D>E>A>T>H>M>E>T>A>L as "Weeb indietronica" or like Y2K Radiohead. it's part dreamy and part spacey like drifting in space.
Dre is an undeniable genius for making this album.the bass, the crispy punchy drums, don't let me get it started with the grooves. Anyways the Chronic feels like more of a snoop album considering the best songs have him featured in it like is dre the rapper or the story teller in this because I feel like most of the songs are about hoes and bitches. Dre made a great blueprint for future rappers and artists for generations to come but that does not mean the original dosen't hold up.
Honestly whenever i hear an evensense project that's not fallen or open door i feel like I'm listening to a parody of evensense something like within temptation in a way.
with sanctuary the band tries to convey the feeling of all the early albums without understanding what made them special in the first place. Amy's vocal range is high as always but there is no sympathy to back it up like on the track "how do i heal" wich ironically makes my ears bleed. If you take a ... read more
God, what an extraordinary, heartbreaking album.
Departure Songs is about "failed, yet epic and honorable journeys." Each track is a story of sacrifice and explorers who didn't come home, using history as a metaphor for their own loss . Very emotional experience like how most of the tracks move from bleak crushing sarrow into somewhat shimmers of hope.
