One of those albums that just pass over without leaving any notable impact... except the mantra at the beginning.... free your mind and your ass will follow...

In my 20+ millenniums of listening to music, I have come across three releases that I could confidently deem pointless:
Sleep Token- Take me back to eden
Sonic Youth- NYC Ghosts & Flowers
And, congratulations, Flying Lotus- BIG MAMA

Usually the phrase "their most commercial" is used in a negative light, standing as a synonym for "their least experimental" or "their least nuanced" . This is probably one of the few exceptions- a more streamlined sound whilst retaining the qualities that define Yo La Tengo

Less weird, more bizare
