Listened to this with the Coolest Person Ever!!!!!!! Super solid album and um. Holy shit Portrait of a Lonely Sad Sap blew me the fuck away. One of the best songs of 2021. Loved this actually.

I love this album. New favorite Swans, as of recording. Huge shoutout to Jarboe for making this album listenable. While Swans still retains the rough and grating sound that they had in their earlier no wave works (as best seen in Young God, and as worst seen in Public Castration is a Good Idea.
