Great album about how the indomitable human spirit can overcome any hardships thrown at it. Hard instrumentals, hard singing, solid concept for an album, it's great, i can see why it's in the top 100 highest rated albums of all time. That first 3 track run is MWAH, INCREDIBLE, and i'd even put 48 up there too. But the rest of the album does not reach that level at all. I mean the other songs are pretty good (outside of The Blankets Were the Stairs and Pheurton Skeurto, don't like those songs much), but those 4 tracks i mentioned earlier are incredible. This would be rated higher if it was at the level of those songs

Despite only coming out roughly 12 years ago, this is one of the most dated albums i have ever heard in my life. YES VINCE GOOD SHIIIIT, this might be his best for me. He takes a different approach here, a more rap rock style AND instead of talking about his own life with a twinge of social commentary, it's social commentary with a twinge of personal anecdotes. Great electropop album about the perils of fame and learning how to love yourself. It doesn't say or do anything NEW exactly, but DAMN does it do what it says out to do pretty damn well.
