At the beginning of 2025, Hayden Anhedõnia released "Perverts". one of the most passionate, cohesive, and fully realized projects in dark ambient (and, in my opinion, in contemporary music as a whole) while also standing as their most ambitious and experimental work to date. It is a conceptual descent into the darkest and most depraved corners of society, exploring themes of marginalization, existentialism, and a deeply somber vision of love, sex, and religion.
