I've heard a few TWRP songs throughout the years, but was largely unfamiliar with their sound much less their work. This is the first album I've actively sat down and listened to in full, and it was a treat.
As someone who really loved and grew up with Daft Punk; TWRP's Digital Nightmare is on par with Daft Punk's Discovery to me - which means I think it's really good and an album I'll continue to revisit for the next decade.

If you ignore the overwhelmingly depressing tone of this album, you definitely get some real good beats and vibes out of this. Tierra truly let go and didn't care - she meant it when she said she was going to be real about her feelings. I respect her for that. As black women it can be so difficult to be honest about our feelings, our headspace, and to be vulnerable about them respectively. I understand. I've been listening to this album since I was a teenager. This album has carried me through several losses and tragedies. Every time I sit down to listen, I am always left in awe. I always pick up on something new. I wish we got a full length film for this album. It deserves a film companion to truly showcase the talents of Janelle, the orchestra, and the visual artists, too.
