So much potential, very exciting

Black Polish - YUNA

I love this atmosphere, hypnotic and commanding, Unfortunately only a few standout songs, but amazing nonetheless

Gorillaz - The Mountain

It was great but it's another soundtrack-esque album to me. I'm either listening to the whole album or I'm not listening (moreso I haven't found individual songs that really stick for me)

The Scythe - Strictly 4 The Scythe

A lovely collection to use as a soundtrack

100 gecs - 10,000 gecs

Someone said "100 gecs is like if you revised the first song you ever made ten thousand times" and that's never left my thoughts.

PinkPantheress - Fancy That

It's hard to imagine this isn't her peak. Her whole career has been a generational run

tsubi club - trinket

It's not every day you get a boner from a glitchcore album cheering for & praising you the whole time

Ninajirachi - I Love My Computer

Looking milkable bro!

Okay I was prepared to not enjoy this, but it's actually a nice blend of emo, a little punk, and a little too much of that glitzy glammy furry EDM. The whiny & heavily auto-tuned vocals, the daria-esque paced edm, and the album cover itself are easy ways to dismiss the whole album outright, but some of the tracks really pull it all off (minus the cover, I cannot show my coworkers this music, but it's not for them so who cares). I will say, the intro ... read more

I listened to about 10 seconds of each song, it's a little upsetting that this is the man who fights against AI and engages in weird culture, but oh well. The saving grace of the album is it's incredibly easy to enjoy any couple of songs individually if you wanted and they'd be fine. This shit would go hard on 5% volume. I still kind of like you as a person bbno$ <3

4 years ago I would've been so autistic about this album. I don't think I even listen to any music that sounds like this. A project that radiates new-gen creativity and hope.

Forgot to leave a review for this album when I first listened and I never checked the aoty page, so it's pretty cool No One is talking about the music itself. Ahhh guys I hate porn and gay sex and I need to feel seen and heard as a hater... anyways:

I think what really messes this album up the most are the first three songs, they just lack compared to literally the rest of the entire album. I don't even think they're Awful songs, they just shouldn't be the first three ... read more

Edit: 98, I gave it 90 at first but screw it

Bob Vylan - Humble As The Sun

It sounds exactly how you think it does, still not bad. At worst he'll say stuff like "the rich are comfortable while the working class are starving" and it's like yeah man I feel like we got that part... or at least people with functioning brains found that one out already. But obviously that's deep to a lot of people so I'm not gonna pretend it's unwarranted. Anyway yeah it's pretty good, I might revisit this review and flesh it out more but I ... read more
