Why can't Drake get better production? He's a fucking millionaire and most popular rap artist but his beats are so fucking generic and boring, unbelievable.

The highs are high, but the lows are low. Headlines is still Drake's best single to this day, tho.

Dessa goes into a more pop lane, and executes it wonderfully. This is pop rap with a soul, and her singing is absolutely beautiful.
Dessa shows us why she's the best female MC to ever grace the mic too, since her lyricism peaked on this one imo.
Highly recommend her TED talk to, for some more context for this album.

Metal screams over trap beats shouldn't work and should be cringe but Bones somehow pulls it off. Im bamboozled.

Double disc that is not a slog? This is a first. Big KRIT's magnum opus, and the magnum opus of southern rap, bringing it safely into the modern era without sacrificing the soul of it. Amazing job KRIT, might not be perfect (1999 and Ride With Me are rough) but this is gonna go down as a modern classic for sure.

Benny is amazing but the features fucking suck. For the most part.
