After the absolute journey that is Precambrian that got released way back in 2007... Robin decided it was time to do a follow up in 2018, 11 years after the original album came out... and good god am I glad he did. Phanerozoic is SO good and hits such an underrated time era in earths history... the Palaeozoic. Precambrian is my favorite album of all time; a little out of bias due to my love for paleontology... but... besides bias, this album is still absolutely phenomenal.
Precambrian takes idea of using earths Super Eon with its first three Eons(The Hadean, Archean, and Proterozoic) as a concept.
