Should you listen to it? HELL YEAH!!!

Arjen Lucassen's seventh album (under the name Ayreon) was an interesting album for sure. The album features a lotta singers (Seventeen according to Wikipedia), but there is only one singer I'm really familiar with, which is Jonas Renkse, who was featured in two of The Ocean's albums, Phanerozoic I: Palaeozoic and Phanerozoic II: Mesozoic | Cenozoic (Both are GOOD albums MUST LISTEN). I am kind of surprised to see there is only 1 review for the most popular Ayreon album. I had only heard the first song for quite a while, but I actually liked it more as I heard a few more tracks, if not just LP 1 in general, which normally I would not say. I feel like this album isn't harmed as much by the 2LP, nearly two hour bloat of itself that Ayreon likes doing. I might say it's actually a benefit for this album. Just remove track 11 and you're solid.

While this is a solid record, I do think it's a bit of a step backwards from The Human Equation. It's just as long so it's a bit of a hard album to listen to, but it's just not quite on the same level as it could be. There's definitely more cheese in this one, the dating app section in particular was pretty bad, but it's bearable for the most part.
