Funny album. The lyrics are very hit or miss for me, a lot of it feeling too goofy.
I think Skin Cleared might be my favorite track, and shout out to Full Frontal for being funny as fuck.
The tonal shift in the last two tracks surprised me, not sure how well the heartfelt country ass sound supposed to fit in with the otherwise very sexual themes.
EDIT:
Actually, I gotta rant about Trap Door. Why tf are THEY dissing Tilian?? It's rich coming from the same people who kept him around even after the allegations arose. Genuinely baffling.

I didn't have high hopes to begin with, but still this album is disappointing. I'm oscillating between thinking DGD are back and them being washed 💔
The two songs that I liked are Animal Surgery and The Conqueror Worm
Even better than Trench.
The only thing I didn't like is Intentions being the closing track.
Good album, but the lack of crunchiness mixed in with improved production left me feeling like something is missing.
It's alright, the beats are fun. I'm not really pulled to relisten to many of the songs on my own though.
Ring Ring Ring is my fav for sure
Edit: Updated my rating from 60 to 70 as I found myself frequently coming back to listen to like 4/10 tracks.
This is what teenager me thought blurryface was like.
I really like every track on this album, especially Legend as it made me tear up.
Not as meh as I remembered it to be. It definitely falls off past Born to Fail, but overall it's alright.
First 8 tracks are my favorite ones, but out of them Strawberry's Wake really stands out to me.
Synergy is the only relistenable track of of this bloated album.
Unless Pantheon turns out to be worse, this is so far the most mid thing DGD has put out.
EDIT: Updated my score from 65 to 70. I grew to like this album a bit more after a few relistens.
I'm sad, but I don't like this album. Compared to Chromatica, Mayhem feels scattered and absolutely lacking in electropop.
I had high hopes for it after Abracadabra was released and so far the only other song I like is Killah. Oh well.
some songs were too much for my noise sensitive brain, but overall it's a nice mix of noise and soft vocals. Can't say I'll be coming back to this album, but I really liked Paces.
Yet another artist that I really should have checked out sooner. tv off and squabble up are awesome, but it's heart pt.6 and gloria that really captivated me.
I THOUGHT YOU WANTED TO DANCE is peak, but I felt so meh about everything else (except for WILSHIRE) it's crazy.
toxic yaoi
i'm really beating myself up for not listening to this album sooner
There's something about the mix of drum n bass with soft vocals that just feels so heavenly. Not a fan of the most features, but still I can see myself coming back to this album again and again.
Makes me want to turn a man into soup beans and talk about feelings with a bestie
If this album existed when I was in high school it would've had a death grip on me.
I love how fun this album is, I love the how the songs connect with each other, but man 20 songs is a lot..
