Ariana Grande - hate that i made you love me
52

This song is not bad, the instrumental/backing synth is pretty nice. However, it is boring and repetitive and pretty hypocritical to Ariana Grande's character. I like a few of the inflections closer to the end of the song which show some of the voice on her older albums, but they come at a time when the song is not going anywhere and is boringly repeating. It's not bad but it's not a 78.

Oasis - Definitely Maybe
94

There's a certain vibe to this album of a rainy night in Stoke.

Tame Impala - Currents
93

7/13 of these are exceptional tracks. The other 6 are good but not on quite the same level.

Radiohead - In Rainbows
90

Great but has a few misses.

Mojave 3 - Spoon and Rafter
89

This album is really beautiful to me, even if the second half of the album isn't quite comparable to the first.

Magdalena Bay - Imaginal Disk
88

It's amazing, but I think they still have room to get even better.

Arcade Fire - The Suburbs
100

Arcade Fire at their very best, even above Funeral. Sprawl II (Mountains Beyond Mountains) is the greatest track they ever put out, and in my top ten of all time.

my bloody valentine - loveless
99

Sometimes is the best song on this album

Dead Calm - Accept
87

Really well made, the singular chord progression carried throughout the album reminds me a little of the recycled lyricism on Imaginal Disk in a way. Liam McCay's best project I think.
