JID - The Forever Story

This is just perfect. The content is amazing, the rhyme schemes are perfect, the production is insane and he has the best flow in the game. It really is something special

Freddie Gibbs - Alfredo 2
90

While not Freddie's best project, Alfredo 2 doesn't fail to entertain. It delivers such a beatiful vibe trough it's soundscape. You feel like you're being transitioned into the Alfredo 2 world

J. Cole - The Off-Season

Such great replay value. Strong bars, great beats and amazing features? Sign me up. One of the most underrated projects from J Cole

J. Cole - 4 Your Eyez Only
95

This is simply beautiful. Being able to portray this story in an album is absolutely incredible. This is some of the best storytelling i've ever heard and some of the most wonderful messages. Masterpiece

OutKast - Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik

Very innovative, interesting and enjoyable. The skits make a great album experience and all the songs are bangers. Love the sound, writting and messages.

A$AP Rocky - LONG.LIVE.A$AP
90

A defining album for the could rap era. While it's not the storgest lyrically, it has such an enjoyable sound with Rocky's production style and voice. It's also packed with great features from many rappers, a standout being the song 1train, where you feel like all of them and fighing for the best verse.

21 Savage - WHAT HAPPENED TO THE STREETS?
60

While almost 2 years apart from the last album, WHTTS feels like a forced, rushed release. It dosen't bring anything new, keeping the classic 21 Savage sound. It's features are mostly dissapointing and it didn't fullfit it's potential and expectations. Overall it's an ok project thet could've been more

Kendrick Lamar - To Pimp a Butterfly
99

While GKMC is more enjoyable, TPAB is Kendrick's masterpiece. From it's concept to the jazz rap, this album doesn't have any flaws and is definitely one of hip hop's best.

Baby Keem - Ca$ino
80

An upgrade from "The Melodic Blue", being more concise and lyric focused while still keeping the Baby Keem anthems and club songs. While it has some skips it's still a great album and deserved the wait.

JAY-Z - Reasonable Doubt
99

While not as iconic and influential as "The Blueprint", I think this is Jay-Z's best album. The mafioso rap combined with some of the best production ever make a masterpiece with many of my favourite Jay-Z songs on it.

Nas - It Was Written
99

This is one of rap's masterpieces. Coming close to it's big brother, Illmatic, It was written is definitely one of the best rap albums to ever come out. It has still got all of Illmatic's qualities while also adding a more mainstream-friendly side to them. A very important stand out moment is the song "I gave you power" and it's concept. This is Nas's 2nd best album up there with Illmatic, challenging it for the throne.

Nas - God's Son
95

One of Nas's most emotional and deep albums. Amazing lyrics, themes and great production. Only flaw for me is the song zone out, being the low of the album. Overall I aboslutely love this album, being one of my favourites oat.

JAY-Z - The Blueprint
95

An absolute classic. It fits the name perfectly succeding in laying a blueprint for a great album which you sense when listening to it. It has amazing production, good bars and memorable moments. A masterpiece for rap.

21 Savage, Offset & Metro Boomin - Without Warning
90

Very good album, you can't really point out any imperfections other than maybe that some songs sound very similar to each other.
21 and Metro already had great chemistry and adding Offset into the ecuation made it as good as it could be. It really gets you into that dark, sinister mood that's specific to 21 and Metro while also adding Offset's energy. The only reason I'm not giving this 100 is beacause for me it's not that memorable, sometimes I forget it even exists, ... read more

J. Cole - The Fall-Off
100

MY favourite album oat. For me it's just perfect, goated storytelling, lyrics, soundscape, interpolations/samples, everything. This album just hit different than everything else for me. Also Cole's best album and most versatile. It's got a few little imperfections. My favourite track changes everyday, that's how good the album is, but the one which stood out from day one and I consider my favourite is "I love her again". I love the concept for the album and the ... read more

Nas - Illmatic

Original review:
No need to explain (which is true)

Re-review:

What do I even say about this. It's the greatest rap album of all time, and at least to me probably the best album of all time period. I still can't comprehend how you can create this as your debut, especially at 21 years old. I wonder how it felt to listen to this masterpiece in 1994 and envy those who did.

The tracklist is hands down perfection. It is, as even Nas said, flawless. The length is also perfect, offering ... read more

21 Savage & Metro Boomin - SAVAGE MODE II
90

Best 21 savage project. This duo is insanely good. The production is insane, it's a cinematic album, it paints a perfect picture of the "Savage Mode", it's got some good writing and also 10/10 replay value. Overall one of the best trap albums OAT
