Don Toliver - Heaven Or Hell
85

Good debut album. Vibes are on top as I feel this defines 2020 tiktok era. Production is good, but the writing lacks

Don Toliver - Life of a DON
80

It's writing is alright, it has great production and it has an overall feel to it that transcends you into the Don T world.

Metro Boomin - HEROES & VILLAINS
85

Peak album. This sums up the trap genre very well.

A good project, nothing outstanding or impressive but it's a nice start to his series

KIDS SEE GHOSTS - KIDS SEE GHOSTS
90

This is a masterpiece. It's very engaging, it's got great features, it's got great performances, bars and I don't even need to mention the production. Really not any flaws

21 Savage - i am > i was
85

My goat made a very good project. I love the simplistic production, the more personal songs, the asmr parts, the features and the dark, sinister, haunting songs. What I don't like is that it's got a bit of bloat and also that some of the bars are lackluster.

Denzel Curry - Melt My Eyez See Your Future
95

This is so good it melts my brain. It's pure introspective mental peak with heavenly angelic production and some energetic sparkled with some energetic Denzel like bits. The writing is incredible and the features don't dissapoint.

Ken Carson - More Chaos
35

A pretty hard listen. Worse than his last and not enjoyable

Benny the Butcher - The Plugs I Met
90

This is absolute peak. The production is insane, the rapping is top tier and the feature list is stacked. There is not a single track that is not memorable. The bars are insane and the content matter is well executed. Hard asf

Benny the Butcher - Summertime Butch 2
70

While there is nothing incredible about this, it's still a good project. It's good, pure, lyrical rap which these days is hard to come by. The production is mostly simple but there are some great moments on it. It's pretty consistent and there are only 1 or 2 tracks I would skip.

Don Toliver - OCTANE
75

I'm dissapointed in this album. It's just a compilation of things that Don has already done in the past. It has no new themes, the same writing and only difference is a bit in the production but not necessarily in a good way. Even with the things already mentioned, it still has the Don Toliver sound which makes it very pleasant to listen to and very mainstream orientated. Overall I expected more and think this is Don's worst album.

slayr - Half Blood (BloodLuxe)
60

Unfortunately for this album I don't really enjoy rage rap so instantly it's not going to be for me. I like the experimentation with combining elements from different genres and also like the transitions from one song to the other. I can see how this can be very good for other people.

Ken Carson - A Great Chaos
55

There is nothing more that screams mid than this album. All the beats are generic rage rap beats and very similar one to another, the writing is less than mid and the features ( x3 Destroy Lonely) are absolute trash. It's good as a background pay no atention to it noise and for tiktoks though.

Kanye West - BULLY
65

I'm grateful for the improvement from the last projects. This shows Kanye's going in the right direction rn. It's still not that good, the second half is just bad. The first half has some bangers and some other good and ok songs but it just goes downhill in the second one. Most of them feel like interludes or incomplete songs to me. Also some of them just don't sound right. Overall I think it's a step in the right direction and a sort of comeback for Kanye.

JID - God Does Like Ugly
90

I really enjoyed this project. I like JID's experimentation, I like the features and the production. His performance is as always goated, and he also showed some good singing skills. It's got both deep emotional cuts and energetic ones. So in my opinion this is a very good project and what I expected to see from him.

Drake - Nothing Was the Same
90

This is Drake's best project. The production is exceptional, the mix of rap and r&b is perfect and the themes are what you think about when you hear Drake.

Drake - If You're Reading This It's Too Late
90

One of the best mixtapes oat. This is Drake's best rapping

Dr. Dre - 2001
99

Top 3 rap albums oat. The best you'll get out of gangsta rap. The best produced hip hop project ever with also the most stacked feature list.

Clipse - Let God Sort Em Out
95

This is insane. This production, the content, the bars it's just wow. Skipless with great energy this is definitely album of the year 2025. The comeback is real.

J. Cole - Friday Night Lights
90

This is one of the best mixtapes ever released. It's got great production, lyrics and Cole's very hungry. It portrays his life as he started becoming popular and experiencing fame. I like that it's just pure hip hop and zero tries for a mainstream hit. There are 2 songs that I don't enjoy that much (You got it & In the morning) but that doesn't stop it from being great.
