One of the weaker Bodysnatcher project I've heard ngl, I would be reviewing a lot more but i'm on like a movie arch instead of music currently. But anyway, The singles for this record all smack super hard so I thought the rest could bring that same energy but some of the songs just don't hit as hard and it's like I've heard them before. Still a super solid project for sure. Favorite songs "Violent Obsession", "Hell Is Home".
A very good album by A Wake In Providence, and their first project with Will Ramos and he sounded super different because he was so much younger and it was super neat hearing him like this. You can definitely tell that his lows got a lot lower and he's just improved so much. I really like the breakdowns on this project also with some great features. Im excited to hear the rest of this band!!! Favorite song "Seeker".
An average death-core EP. Not much amazing going on here just some average solid vocals, breakdowns. I do really enjoy the choir sound at the end of the track "Bane". Favorite song "Insidious".
I really enjoyed 2 songs on here a lot. I really enjoy the vocals on this project and the slow breakdowns when they hit. I found this band because of Will Ramos, so I think I'm going to check them out more. No bad song on here. Favorite songs "Ruination", "Through The Eyes Of A Traitor".
SO MUCH BETTER THAN I THOUGHT IT’D BE. I’m very impressed by LOG to keep going this good after 25+ years now. The groove on here on most of these tracks is just truly stunning. Randy’s vocals amaze me every time I hear them as he grows older. It’s kind of like they tuned back the clock 15 years, with their speed and ruthlessness. There was a little drop off in the middle of this record but that’s okay. Favorite songs “Into Oblivion”, “Parasocial ... read more
This felt a lot more overall powerful than anything else I've heard from them so far, There's a lot of chugging on this record for sure. This felt more on the Death-coreish side than Thall. Favorite song "Bellua, Pt. 1".
I already listened to the first half of this album because of the EP. The rating slightly went down just because I feel like the 2nd half of this album started to slack more and more. Especially in the track "Never Ending Cycle" idk why but that really brought down the rating for me. Favorite song "Righteous Death".
Pretty good album here by Humanity, slacking in some songs that don’t bring anything too special sadly. Favorite song “Furvus”.
This is actually pretty solid with the sick guitar riffs, and the grooves on here are super cool. A lot of the times on here are mid though in a few of the songs. Favorite song "Righteous Death".
This was so brutal throughout with constant slamming throughout all 14 tracks. I'm not the biggest on slam, i'm really on the fence on finishing their discography. But they are for sure on of the best slam bands I've ever heard. Favorite song "Interdimensional Abnormality".
An average slam EP by Vulvodynia here but with some pretty cool riffs and impressive drumming. Only one song really stood out to me. A lot of the "REE" vocals on here almost in every song. A pretty brutal EP here from them with no letting up at all. Favorite song "Genetically Reengineered Repugnance".
This just feels like classic Bruno Mars, a very safe project where he didn't really take any risks at all. His voice is obviously really good still, but after 10 years??? Come on, this is all you had? It was so repetitive and disappointing. It felt as if he didn't put his all into this to be honest which I hate because people were waiting so long for a whole new sound from him and they didn't get it. Every song besides "I Just Might" feels like I've heard it before ... read more
This was more enjoyable than their last EP. For their first album they keep to their vibe but this time it was better in my opinion. Favorite song "Slippin".
This was pretty solid honestly, it has a super old school sound way earlier than 2015 in my opinion. The vocals would be super peak for old school death core. the guitarist is also really good at writing cool riffs. Super heavy as-well. Favorite song "Drowned In Vomit".
This was pretty mid, it sounded kind of sloppy in some parts with no really standout moments. Favorite song "Bay Slam".
I mean it's decent slam with a good groove at times, nothing crazy stand out that makes me want to give this a higher rating. Favorite song "All Talk".
This was still pretty good but didn't hit as hard as their first EP. The vocals are still super crushing, I guess I couldn't just feel the groove or the breakdowns as hard on this project by them. But still pretty solid by Tracheotomy, Favorite song "Maimed".
this slammed super hard, just pure beatdown heavy death core. This brings back vibes of older death core vibes like Carnifex, Despised Icon. I really love the vocals too with them being super low and powerful still with pretty solid production. My favorite songs on here are "Dissimulation", and "Your enemy, Your Mind".
This was a super fun and technical 56 minute long project by Netherwalker. There was so much symphony in here it was crazy. And even some singles from 3 years ago are on here!!! Some parts on here were a bit much at times especially with the vocals, with that being said I don't really agree with a lot of people saying its basically Lorna Shore, because their so different in a lot of ways and that's the way death core is headed anyway. With that being said a pretty fun and technical ... read more
There is one okay sounding track on here, I understand it's a demo but the production might be in the bottom 2 I've ever heard. I think it's rated so high because some people are just craving old school death core so they'll take anything they can get. Favorite song "Son Devouring His Saturn".
