I feel this should've been labeled more death metal than anything. The vocals are 100% amazing though, Teyen has amazing range and power to his vocals. The "breakdowns" were very similar throughout the whole album it sounded like the same tone. I did have some stank faces during some songs. I also understand it say's Sludge also as a sub-genre which I can feel, but I do feel as if this is mainly death metal. I'm not sure if i'm going to complete their discography ... read more
One of the more bland albums I've heard from them so far, they really just have so many records it's hard to want to listen to all of them but I'm trying. I feel like Kirk's voice sometimes isn't the best in some moments here which. Some really sick riffs on here and I especially love the speed of the guitars near the end of the track "Still I Reach". Favorite song "Still I Reach".
I feel like this record by them is a fall off, it drags on longer than it needs too. There isn't much groove during most of the songs. I do appreciate the lyrics being written by Kirk because they are good lyrics, with that being said that doesn't mean it gets a higher rating what matters is the enjoyability. Favorite song "Self-Inflicted".
The first 3 tracks on here are absolutely amazing but the 2nd half side of the record just didn't hit as hard as I would've loved to be honest. The singing on some of the tracks really gave off the metal core side of this band which I didn't mind that much. The death core side of them is definitely more of my liking but really solid album. Favorite songs "Conviction", "Forgive Me".
This album is the epitome of melodic metal core, and it really love the vibe it gives off. It also flashes a lot of death core signs as-well which is right up my alley. I feel like their really fits this exact genre of music which is probably why I rated it pretty good. There were some cool old school death core breakdowns on here as-well as some metal core ones. Favorite songs "Revelations" "The Serpents Tongue".
This is Megadeth's final album and I can't say I expected anything too good. But Megadeth is for sure one of the most legendary bands in the metal scene, they've been going on for so long. It is pretty interesting how their last album is their self titled record. The guitars are pretty nice on this record, but Dave's vocals are starting to fall apart and you can hear it throughout the record. A lot of the song writing seems dare I say corny? or even AI ish... Definitely ... read more
I mean this was a mid EP, This band has great reviews from back in the 2000's so I'm excited to hear those next. There was only 1 pretty good song. 3/5 songs I found mid... Favorite song "Ancient Call".
I really enjoyed most of the songs on here, I really enjoy how powerful her voice is on this record. She has so many of her classics on here too which was nice to listen to again. I also think the piano is amazing on here and demonstrates the emotion really nicely. Favorite songs "Hello", "Send My Love (To Your New Lover" and "All I Ask".
This was beautiful, I really do love this band and it sucks how they only have 1 rate able album. I really love the “breeeees” and the breakdowns too. The final track was really beautiful, and the track title names are peak. Favorite songs “Do Not Confused Bravery For Courage (It Begins With The Letter B), “ When Curiosity Kills A Dog” and “Ecstacy”
I'd say this is better than Americas Most Wanted album by them, I really do with they had a larger discography because they only have 2 rate able projects. Favorite songs "A Day Late... And A Dollar Short", and "The Color Green".
I really do enjoy this death-core album, I feel like the 2nd half lagged off some. I wasn't expecting it to be 61 minutes though... But it didn't bother me too much. Favorite songs "Trash Can Alley", "6 Gallon Gasoline Stomach".
One of the worst if not the worst so far, nothing special I was mainly bored throughout. I couldn't grasp this record for some reason. Favorite song "Vanishing".
The first half of this record was so much better than the back half. Most of the songs besides the first 1-3 were so boring and mid I didn't care for them at all. Favorite songs by far are "Memento Mori", "On The Hook".
This album was pretty consistent and solid, not much standout moments or tracks though... I really love randy's voice in this I just wish there were more groovy breakdowns like in the older LOG. Favorite song "Delusion Pandemic".
This has been my favorite Bruno album so far, I really loved the Soul and Funk vibe to this album. I really like Bruno because I feel as if every album has a different genre to it. Some of the songs pretty fast and some are calm and slow. Favorite songs "Leave The Door Open", "After Last Night", "777".
This was actually better and more consistent than I thought it was going to be. There really wasn't a bad track at all and I loved that. This record really had a lot more of an R&B feel to it instead of pop and it was the best R&B I've heard yet, I think it's because it was also upbeat and fun. Favorite songs "That's what I like", "Straight Up And Down", "Finesse".
Slightly better than "Doo-Wops & Hooligans", just because I think the peaks on this record are higher than on his first album. I do think it is less consistent though, but the peaks on here are so good. I love the vibes of the songs and the variety. Favorite songs "When I was your Man", "Locked Out Of Heaven", "Treasure", and "If I Knew".
