This started a lot better than it finished. I really don't like super modern sounding metal too much (with some exceptions of course). I really wasn't a fan of the clean vocals during the choruses on here, they sounded super over produced and not natural. Even though this is pretty low rated I will continue their discography because I only have 2 records left to discover. Favorite song "Exodus".
I'm not sure how I found this band but they're on my "Next To Listen To" list so that's what I'm doing. They give me a little bit of a Shadow Of Intent vibe at times during this which is pretty neat. I really thought the technicality for them was for sure there on this whole EP. And the start of the track "Crimson" was super intriguing to me. besides this first and last track though the rest of the record couldn't really reach that standard for me. ... read more
I really found this record interesting, this whole album is brutal through all songs without really letting up. With chunky slow breakdowns in almost every song, they don't really let up. I really enjoyed reading the lyrics on here. Favorite song "The Inverted Crucifixion".
I was a believer yesterday.... so I listened to his first album today, and I wish I never did. It was corny, and sloppy. It just sounded like a youtube rapper made. I mean the Features are Dax and B. Lou so you can't really expect much. No songs were good, I do think this actually gave me a headache. I don't know if I will be listening to the rest of his music.
This is the epitome of peak of death core. Groovy, brutal, cool riffs all around. I really wish there was music like this still around. Some songs weren’t as good as others but you have to expect that with full length albums. Favorite song “Abaddon’s Horde”.
I don't see myself coming back to this much at all because I listen to a lot of music but.... true thoughts compared to what I thought I'd think of this, I was very impressed through the first track it didn't really have me by the ropes but as I went through the songs it pulled me in more and more and by the last song I honestly did enjoy it a thorough amount. At some point I don't know when will I listen to the rest of his work but at some point it will be done. Favorite ... read more
Actually not as bad as I thought Quadeca would be, I really truly did think the 2nd track "UNDER MY SKIN" was pretty good and had a good flow to it. I am starting to be able to appreciate the "experimental-ness" of Quadeca and his style of music. The other 2 songs were okay but not as good as "UNDER MY SKIN".
The first track on here "A LA CARTE" was actually pretty solid the rapping on there was actually decent with some neat atmospheric sounds. Now to the downsides, the second track wasn't really good and I couldn't grasp any attraction to it. Good production all around though.
This was a really fun old school death core album, I'm starting to appreciate the guitar riffs way more now that I've listened to a lot of this type of metal. The vocals were really solid on here and the riffs are almost like metal core ish sounding which I find super neat. Favorite song "Bring Out Your Dead".
I enjoyed this pretty well, the vocals were really nice and low with great sound to them like to 2000s. There was some cool riffs and clean breakdowns. There wasn't a bad track on here. Favorite song "Persecution".
This is just corny tbh, there's like shitty rap in here too. It's like a corny tiktok rapper. I can't believe I still have to deal with a whole album of this still. Everything on here is pretty corny. No favorite song.
Their just getting shittier and shittier... theres nothing I enjoy on here really besides a few mid songs. These last 2 records are going to be a struggle for sure, but hopefully not. Everything is sloppy and boring. Don't recommend at all. Favorite song "A Gift A Curse".
Just sloppy, not what they were or sounded like at their beginning. Shitty artwork, mid music all around. Just not really becoming a fan of anything past their few projects. No favorite song.
It just seems like they’re getting worse and worse… the only song I enjoyed was the first track and the rest were just meh. Emmure is starting to lose their good reputation for me. I didn’t really like the electronic sound on some of the songs either. Favorite song “Children Of Cybertron”.
Now this is an absolute classic, there’s not a bad song on here just a few that didn’t hit as hard as the known classics. I really love the energy this gives out, it just brightens the mood I feel. Favorite songs “Wanna Be Starin’ Somethin’” , “Beat It”, and “Billie Jean”.
A slight fall off from Emmure here, I feel like it was more consistency brutal and death-core ish then their first album. I really do enjoy the transitions on here from track to track. Nothing too special from them here with their best track in my opinion being an instrumental. Favorite song "Dry Ice".
This was really solid and I really enjoyed the vibe it gave off. I think this is super hated and so far from what I've heard from Emmure themselves as a band is crazy over hated. I think it's really interesting how this record is like color coded for the track ratings from top to bottom. I really like the breakdowns and it's pretty groovy. Favorite songs "When Keeping It Real Goes Wrong" and "You Got A Henna Tattoo That Said Forever".
I found this super enjoyable ngl, idc that it has a lower rating but from what I've heard from Emmure I am a fan for sure. I really like the vocalist just talking throughout the tracks, and then the breakdowns are really nice and groovy with a really cool vibe to them. the guitars were really cool too. I do think some of the breakdowns were a little bit similar which is why I enjoyed the first half of this record more. Favorite songs "Johnny Carson Didn't Have To Die", ... read more
