The Company Man on Youtube said this album was his most favored one, so I thought I'd check it out. This album really made me realize how unrelatable Drake's lyrics are. Princess was the only song on the album that was completely different from the rest of the tracks, and was pretty good (It Kinda bit off of XXXTentacion vibes tho)! The instrumentals were pretty good, but honestly never coming back to this.
I got recommended this by someone on the site so I thought id check it out. This was pretty chill laid back hip hop with that old school feel to it. Was an enjoyable listen! Favorite tracks: Shed The Skin, Cmon Cmon and Just Say.
Hey so I got recommended this by someone on the site, and I decided to check out the whole 39 track mixtape! Theres some beats that are so amazing and transcending, but Kool Keith has a lot of bars that have not aged well. I get that this was common in this era of hip hop but this was too excessive.
This album was waaaay too chill, so chill I almost fell asleep. The pacing of this album is weird too, it goes hard from the opening track to a really quiet and chill beat with no decent transition. Feels like these tracks are slapped on without properly going into the next track so it feels really jarring.
This was one of the smoothest folk albums I have listened to in a while! Great lyrics and comfy sounding acoustics. Favorite tracks: why does the earth give us people to live, dickhead blues and no fun/party.
Favorite album from Chief Keef. All fun and bouncy production and can listen to from start to finish. All of the tracks on here are great!
This album got me into checking out more bluegrass and country! The banjo and guitar solos here are amazing, and creates a trippy and ambient vibe for the whole album.
My favorite album from Pusha T. This combines experimental samples with his delivery to create a menacing but also enjoyable listening experience.
My favorite album from KKB. Very chill and upbeat album that just makes me feel good when listening to it. Also runtime is the right amount to spin more times too.
Easily one of the best Foo Fighters albums to date for me, and the pacing of the album flows nicely too.
Filled with pop bangers back to back and is overall enjoyable to listen to!
Easily a masterpiece! This album is totally slept on, and definitely deserves more listens!
This has to be one of my favorite albums from GYBE! Super experimental and nice to listen to, great production as well.
My favorite album from Bloc Party. The electronic beats mixed with cleanly distorted guitars goes great with the ambient vibes of the album. Signs is a song that sounds entirely unique to their discography too.
My favorite album from NIN. The over distorted beats, bass and ambient electronic environment goes so hard! I can listen to this entire album from front to back, and this album definitely stands out from their discography. The message of the album also has aged like wine in this time period too.
This was one of my favorite albums to listen to during the pandemic, and still is to this day! The runtime is great and filled with bangers! I think this is one of the best projects they have ever put out.
