Daniel Caesar - Son Of Spergy
91

critics who says this is bland either didnt listen to it, or they have no attention span. this album is his deepest to date and thats saying a lot, beautiful songwriting, heavenly instrumentals with some of the best vocal performances ever. lots of sad times lately, and this album is the most heartbreaking shit ever, cried at least 3 times listening to this.
fav songs:
who knows
moon
call on me
sins of the father
worst songs.
none

Dave - The Boy Who Played the Harp
90

i havent listened to any other dave albums but this definitely hooked me and i will be listening to the other ones at some point
i really like that you can tell that the features were intentional and well thought out. dave didn't just want a hit album if he wanted that he wouldve just make the whole album with central cee.
very good album

Mac DeMarco - Guitar
85

i think that all the people who are disregarding this album and are saying that all the songs sound the same have never listened to another mac album. although it is the same formula for most of the songs this is the most homey and humble mac project to date and thats saying a lot. the songs do blend together but i think thats the point of this project. its to make the whole thing an experience.

Earl Sweatshirt - Live Laugh Love
80

i would definitely say this is earls best since SMR. i don't really enjoy all the mumbling on this album, but i think this is very unique and different for earl

Tyler, The Creator - DON'T TAP THE GLASS
81

this is a reallty good album considering he was on tour while making this. he really meant it when he said that he wanted people to dance to this because this is basically a dance album fused with hip hop. the features are really good and production as always is also really good though the lyrics and rhyming couldve been better. also if the track ratings dont match up its because i included down bad in my rating and seperated dont tap that glass and tweakin

BROCKHAMPTON - iridescence
87

this is an amazing album and really impressive considering they just dropped 3 albums back to back to back with the saturation series. my only critique is sometimes the vocals sound a little weird like on thug life towards the end

Domo Genesis - WORLD GONE MAD
72

a very nice short album with great bars and great production

Stevie Wonder - Music of My Mind
95

to me this is a perfect album front to back. this shit changed my life. "Evil" is defo one of my favorite songs oat its crazy. i discovered this album through the tv show "Atlanta" with donald glover aka childish gambino and the way that its used is so good

Clipse - Let God Sort Em Out
89

crazy album with great production possible aoty contender really great features from kendrick and tyler and as usual amazing production from pharrell

JACKBOYS - JACKBOYS 2
55

to the people saying this is aoty: are you high? no like seriously did you listen to this shit? glorillas verse freaky like usual but this time its just weird direct quote from shyne "He nutted, I swallowed them kids so fast, had to fuck around, put out an Amber Alert" like what the fuck is that. insane. atleast sofaygo was on it unlike the first jackboys

Fontaines D.C. - Romance
90

i honestly didnt think id like this but it has surprised me "Here's the Thing" is defo one of the best songs here and "Starburster" is also amazing. normally im not into like british bands and things like that but Grians voice on this lp is actually really nice and goated songwriting

JPEGMAFIA & Danny Brown - SCARING THE HOES: DLC PACK
96

my fav peggy and danny song is here (GWBWBH) so i have to give it a good rating but NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! Radiohead - Nude
100

top 5 songs of all time

Joey Bada$$ - 2000
86

joey is so underrated i think he genuinely should be in the big three conversation. when it comes to concistency and quality over the years joey i definitely on of the goats and even in 2022 he shows he still can perform and really put out some amazing albums

Playboi Carti - MUSIC - SORRY 4 DA WAIT
54

some songs are bangers but theres just too many ideas and he just cant stick to one its kinda mindless at some points

JPEGMAFIA & Danny Brown - SCARING THE HOES
91

this is defo peggys and danny browns best work ever its so experimental and almost a flawless record though i wish danny didnt scream so much but this is definitely peggys best we've seen so far also "Fentanyl Tester" is the most creative beat i have ever heard i mean that little part where it like goes "my milkshake brings all the boys to the yard and theyre like it better than yours" and that satisfying little sound effect has got to be the most beautiful sample flip ... read more

Jeff Buckley - Grace
97

this album will make grown ass men cry its so good. LYSCO is probably top 5 songs of all time just such a good builup and amazing vocals from jeff. wish he didnt drown. couldve been one of the best ever

Radiohead - In Rainbows
93

near perfect album. i think "Nude" is in my top like 3 songs of all time this album is fucking amazing so emotional i cried like 5 times listening to this.

Viagra Boys - viagr aboys
86

very good record kinda emotional. i havent listened to the other albums but i cant really imagine them being more serious and emotional than this one defo an aoty contender for 2025

Kendrick Lamar - To Pimp a Butterfly
93

what to say, what to say. a masterpiece. definitely k-dots best lyrically and produced album, even though i enjoy mmatbs a tad bit more this is definitely his best . i just feel like mmatbs was too personal an album not to be his most enjoyable listen imo. kendricks whole career and discography has been just masterpiece after masterpiece (except "DAMN." which is lowk his worst not to say it isnt good or even great. it just lacks in certain things) "Wesley's Theory" has ... read more
