Fantastic stuff, really infectious guitar and bass parts. This has quickly become some of my favourite songs to learn and play.
Despite my expectations I really enjoyed this album. Pretty cool pretty nice.

I'm still not the biggest fan of the usual TK production, but I think it's better than usual on this EP. The fact that this is an EP also contributes to my enjoyment of it, since it's just four songs. I would most definitely get bored if 2-3 more songs were added.
The vocals are very much the main part of the mix, and the guitars tend to be in an ocean far away. I really enjoy the production at times, such as the build-ups in "Black Sparkle", but the production is the ... read more
A very enjoyable listening experience, with some minor "oh the mixing" moments. I'm not too fond of the vocals, but I liked the guitar parts enough to compensate for it lol
Nearly perfect. Layne's voice was something else, and it works so well with Jerry's. I've played 'I Stay Away' almost too much at this point.
Immediately started learning 'Plug In Baby' on guitar. Some bangers in here, and overall great performances.
This was my introduction to Muse (other than a DnB bootleg of Supermassive Black Hole) and now I want more.
Man, I need to listen to more old Eminem. I've been sitting here giving TDOSS and MTBMB chances and being disappointed instead of spending my time on his genuinly great material.
I figured I'd love this album since I'm such an MCR fanboy but it just doesn't click for me. I don't dislike this album but I also don't really enjoy listening to it, it just is. Yes, there are songs that I think are good and songs that I think are quite lacking but my summed up experience of 'Hesitant Alien' is eh.
Lovely album (:
Doesn't really hold my attention throughout but the highlights are great. I enjoy the production very much and the vocal performances are fantastic.
The drums and the guitars go so well together, and the vocals just sit right where they need to be. I really love listening to this song
It's fun, it has sincere moments, it's goofy ahh music, it's Greg, and it's made by Rob and Andrew. I'm rating this album with the same basis as every other album, but if I were to rate it for exactly what it is (an album made by two friends in a single day) I would give it a 100, because First of October is about having fun, and oh boi is it fun.
