This is not an interesting album at all, but it does what Stray Kids tend to do. The first three songs in particular are annoyingly catchy; I can't get them out of my head no matter how hard I try. This is also the reason as to why SKZ are my most listened to artists on last.fm (a fact that horrifies me). Almost everything this group makes is really catchy background music.
I'm not taking the choreo or other performance aspects into my rating but I just have to say that the choreo ... read more
it's just more great music from Parannoul, and I can't get Par-enough of it. This time around, we get instrumentals that sound like a permanent explosion, which I love it. Good shit
Peak Tool, baby!
The songs hit so hard, and the interludes - while somewhat uninteresting - really add to the atmosphere that the album creates. It all fits. "Stinkfist" is a fantastic start with a chorus that gets the ass moving. I like "Eulogy" but it's not everything I want in a Tool song. It's a good song, don't get me wrong, it's just not as great as the rest of this album in my opinion - this also goes for "Jimmy". I feel like the main ... read more
Lateralus features some incredibly good tracks ("The Grudge", "Parabola", "Ticks & Leeches") that gripped me from the jump and never let go, but there are definitely points where I lose interest for a bit. One example of this would be the interludes - I just don't vibe with them very much. I will say, however, that they do a great job at connecting the songs.
In general, the drums are just the best. Danny Carey really is one of the best drummers alive ... read more
Wassup old review is below since I don't wanna delete anything. I recently listened through this album again and I've come to like some more songs and appreciate the direction BMTH were going in. However, I still really dislike the [ost]-tracks.

The song sounds incredible, but I think it reaches its max way too early. There aren't any long-term dynamics in the song from what I can hear. It goes from somewhat quiet to max on occasion, but in general it's just balls-to-the-wall throughout. In short, soundscape is great, composition is mid.
81 is wild.
"Sit Down. Stand Up" is one of my all-time favourite Radiohead songs, it's just so good, The payoff is nuts and the buildup equally so. The album does slow down quite a bit in the middle but I don't really mind. "2 + 2 = 5" is a really great opener too.
Fav Tracks:
2 + 2 = 5; Sit Down. Stand Up; Backdrifts.
Least Fav Tracks:
We Suck Young Blood.
Oh yeah, this is the good stuff.
In Rainbows is absurdly good, that's it for me.

I'm leaving my old review below but I like Kid A now, it's good stuff.

Old Review:
While this album is very atmospheric and immersive, it's just not really for me. It's quite telling that Kid A is not my kind of album that I mostly just like the most "conventional" track: "Optimistic". To me, ... read more

This is my new favourite Radiohead album. Their newer sound doesn't gel with me as well - though I still appreciate it and enjoy it. The Bends is just a fantastic listen.

It's just a wonderful experience.

I've had a rating for this album for ages but I haven't reviewed it for some reason. I guess it's a fitting 100th review.
Holy shit Iowa is the best thing ever. Slipknot took everything I loved about their self-titled album and just added anything and everything filthy. "Gently" is one of the best tracks I've ever heard in my live and so is "Disasterpiece". Also, the whole story around "Iowa" (the song) is absolutely insane and I can see why Corey's screams sound ... read more
It's pretty damn good for a debut album but it gets a little boring, especially in the middle. I do feel like I should've listened to this before I listened to Folie á Deux in order to not feel like this album is worse just because it's Fall Out Boy but not Folie á Deux and also because it would've made "What a catch, Donnie" a little better than it already is.
I might listen to this album again and the score will likely go up if I do so.
Hell yeah dude!
The ending is pretty great. There's a nice buildup to it and it's executed in a good way.
Overall I really like the sound of this track and the sense of progression makes it a really pleasant listen. The vocal harmonies are really nice too, I'm a big sucker for good vocal harmonies. Good stuff!
After a terrible start "Cover Me" and "Leave" manage to somewhat salvage this EP. It looks like this EP is partly Stray Kids expanding their sound somewhat, which is cool to see. It would be nice if that expansion sounded good lmao.
"MEGAVERSE" has the worst drop I've heard this year, what are the boys doing? "COMFLEX" is funny. It's not good but it's really funny.
Also, is "LALALALA" a butchered, half-assed, kpop version of phonk?? idek ... read more
"Pretty Hate Machine" starts off incredibly well, but I was getting a tiny bit bored towards the end. I'm not sure what exactly it is that I have a problem with. It might be the length of the album.
Fav Tracks:
Head Like a Hole; Terrible Lie; Down In It; Sin
How have I not rated this album yet? I've listened to it dozens of times. Bro I have dementia lmao.
The Downward Spiral is insanely good - one of my all time favourites. The first time I heard "Mr. Self Destruct" it was like getting punched in the face but like in a good way that makes you feel really bad. It was great. "Heresy", "Closer", and "Mr. Self Destruct" have been some of my favourite songs for a long time, but recently the other songs on this ... read more
This is a pretty great EP. While not as incredible as "The Downward Spiral", "Broken" still manages to hold its own in the Nine Inch Nails discography. Being created as a response to to all of the touring that came with "Pretty Hate Machine" and refusing to accept TVT's demands for a synthpop record, it really sounds like anger. Half of this sounds like screams from hell. Even the guitar sounds like it's screaming.

"Rockstar Made" isn't my cup of tea. Carti's delivery is a bit annoying but to my understanding that sorta comes with the genre.
"Go2DaMoon" is pretty alright actually. I really didn't expect that I would find it fine. I don't really like the Kanye verse but Carti's verse is actually pretty good.
"Stop Breathing" has some moments that I enjoy, especially the hook. I don't really vibe with it at times but it's pretty enjoyable. I wouldn't want to listen to it more ... read more
