I'm writing this review as I'm listening to the album because the songs are long enough to do that, let's go.
The album is gripping from the start. Oh man the instrumentation on this thing is already incredible, and the vocal production feels really oppressive, I love it. Fantastic stuff, really infectious guitar and bass parts. This has quickly become some of my favourite songs to learn and play.
Despite my expectations I really enjoyed this album. Pretty cool pretty nice.

I'm still not the biggest fan of the usual TK production, but I think it's better than usual on this EP. The fact that this is an EP also contributes to my enjoyment of it, since it's just four songs. I would most definitely get bored if 2-3 more songs were added.
The vocals are very much the main part of the mix, and the guitars tend to be in an ocean far away. I really enjoy the production at times, such as the build-ups in "Black Sparkle", but the production is the ... read more
