A damn hypnotic listen. Will bite you and force you to experience it all. Which is easy because of its luscious production and short length.
I have only 1 listen on this album but it is devastatingly beautiful. Feels like they’re showing us an open emotional wound throughout the album.
This is a perfect example of good vocal pitching. Each time it’s used perfectly and adds something great to the song. The beats through out are also just great.
I can see the appeal, but to me, it just sounds like what would be a good house record played two floors above your apartment.
This whole album feels like a memory, and in a few cases, it is one for me kinda. This album touches on some parts of my life that I don't get to see in music, at least not in this way.
This is kinda a typical Griselda esc record, but it does that really well IMO.
Rest In Peace, so sad we won’t get any more work on the bleeding edge of creativity that this was.
The best BROCKHAMPTON album by far. Every song slaps, the only "Low point" on the album is chick which the song still is great, juts every other song is a cut above. Most of these songs are my favorite in their discog and of all time for me.
While I did enjoy this project that doesn’t mean it isn’t disappointing. The first 2 tracks are completely different than anything I’ve heard, it was inventive risky and fresh. While the rest of the album is solid and blistering hardcore and punk. This album really could have been special.
I listened to the remaster by the way, basically flawless post-rock with hints of grunge and slowcore in some tracks, an emotional journey I recomenmd
This is the soundtrack to the mind of an 80's slasher villian
Honestly my favorite album of all time. Phil’s songwriting is impeccable, the distorted hazy production is infectious. I love this album.
