Wow this EP is amazing she has so much potential so excited to see what comes from her next
I know this is gonna make me unpopular, that’s why I put off rating this on here for a few months now but I just don’t get what people love about it. The muffled production, the repetitive sound. Like every song Freddie’s just saying “yeah” “yeah” “yeah”. I wish I enjoyed this album but I just don’t. I don’t want to pretend that I love this when that’s just not how I feel about it. I would prefer to be honest than just hide ... read more
Whilst there are some gems most of the album feels repetitive and lacks in uniqueness. Whilst most of the songs are ok, they all feel very bland and similar. I just feel like she played it a little safe. But still an ok finale to the Over It series.

I find Amy Winehouse's Back to Black to be a near-perfect album, a powerful journey into a sound that feels simultaneously vintage and incredibly fresh. From the moment the first notes of Rehab kick in, I'm struck by the raw honesty in her voice and the brilliant production throughout. The entire record is a masterclass in songwriting, with tracks like You Know I'm No Good and the haunting title track laying bare ... read more

Honestly, I think Be is great, but maybe just shy of a masterpiece. The vibe is immaculate; Kanye's production with all those warm soul samples is fantastic, making it feel classic and easy to listen to. Common’s lyrics are sharp, but tracks like GO! and Chi-City let it down and slow the pace of the album down a lot for me. It’s concise and well-made, which I really appreciate. My only real issue is that it feels ... read more
Incredible album from underground prodigy untiljapan. This album mixes good beats with hard vocals and tones, immersing you into the sound of trompe l’oeil. Expecting to hear a lot from him in the future

Man, this album is amazing. This is one of if not the greatest debut album of all time. Whilst other rappers were rapping about guns and violence, Kanye had something else in mind, doing something completely different. Standing out from the crowd and completely changing the whole music soundscape. This album really is brilliant. I really can’t say more apart from that

The Black Album is a definitive victory lap, a high-caliber assembly of hip-hop titans collaborating on JAY-Z’s supposed final curtain call in 2003. The record is stacked with production heavyweights, resulting in a sonically diverse but cohesive listen. Highlights like the stark, classic rock-infused 99 Problems and Kanye West's soulful Encore are immediate standouts. Lyrically, JAY-Z is in a reflective mode, using the ... read more
Danny Brown creates a new, fresh and interesting sound every album. With this one, he collaborates with newer, hyper-pop, edm and rap-electronic artists like underscores, Jane Remover and Frost Children. Quadeca shows up twice on here, impressing with his unique features and sound. Every song is different and changes through out, so you really can’t get bored. Danny Brown is yet again showcasing his experimental and creative approach to music, very nice π

The Eminem Show hits hard in all the right places, Eminem showcasing his amazing lyrical talent and giving us some bangers that everyone knows, like Without Me and "
Till I Collapse. He gives a mix of personal stuff, opening up about his past and problems, as well as political stuff. But, the album just goes on a little too long. It's almost an hour and 20 minutes, and a few of those filler tracks kinda drag things down ... read more

The Blueprint is undeniably a classic piece of JAY-Z's catalog, an album that has left an indelible mark on hip-hop culture with its soulful, sample-driven production that changed the sound of the genre. Yet, in my personal assessment, while the highs are truly fantastic, the album has a few minor lulls that keep it from reaching the absolute pinnacle of perfect albums. I maintain a strong, positive appreciation for it, but ... read more
