I love this album. It might just be nostalgia as one of the first things I remember playing in the car was Psycho, John Hughes Movie, You Signed Up For This, and Volcano (all from this album) but still, re-listening to those songs and with the rest of the albums still hits for me. Maybe if I didn’t have that connection I might of enjoyed it less, but for me, I enjoyed this a lot
Listening to an album everyday from 1995 - 2025: Album 2 (1996)
All Eyez on Me is a monumental release in hip-hop history, yet it's also a deeply flawed one, a fact reflected perfectly in a 70/100 score. While this album serves as a definitive West Coast classic it also has quite significant bloat and inconsistency inherent in a sprawling double album format. It's a project of great peaks and noticeable valleys
Way too short for a single, this feels like an interlude. Way too underdeveloped. This might sound good with the rest of the album but just on its own it doesn’t feel right. Don’t even try to compare PIXELATED KISSES and this song. Maybe will sound better with the rest of the album, but right now, I’m not feeling it
4 Raws is easily the best song on here, that’s why I decided to listen to the rest of the album, but to be honest, the rest isn’t anything special. Like a lot of UK rappers, a lot of the songs are the same kind of flow and build. Jerk beats with the same lyrics. There’s some other hits like Phantom, 5am, and Tartan, and plus some songs it feels like he’s using the same flow. Still, I think he deserves the attention he’s getting
Listening to an album from 1995 to 2025 everyday: ALBUM 1 - Me Against The World (2Pac)
Me Against the World is undeniably a significant and influential album in Tupac Shakur's catalog and hip-hop history, but it's not a flawless masterpiece. It achieves moments of raw brilliance and vulnerability, yet some inconsistencies in production and a relentless, almost overwhelming sense of fatalism keep it from reaching truly classic status. It’s a compelling, intense listen, but one ... read more
This hits multiple different notes, from energy to emotion to everything. Very nice
Offset’s second album of the year is a mixed bag overall. The usual trap rap tracks and melodic ballads make for a good, but nothing else more Halloween album, some tricks and some treats. (Side note: yes I know that last part is cringe as hell)
This album is a blast. It shines in its fast-paced beats, catchy rhythms, experimentation and personality. The chances are you will not find another album like this. Amazing
What I expected. Nothing crazy but still good, solid and reliable music to listen to. Nothing blew me away but nothing was bad. Next time I would like to see him switch it up a little bit though.
BEST FEATURE: CHY CARTIER
Her verse on CHANT carries that song. She combines personality, delivery, flow and bars very well. Was pleasantly surprised
THIS RATING & REVIEW IS ONLY FOR MOTHER
I love the fast paced vibe of this song, great song to bop your head to. Very easy listen.
Besides mother, I wish CHROMAKOPIA + had more songs added, and not just Mother
It’s nothing crazy but it’s nothing horrid either. It’s a good EP, and the thing with 1300SAINT is that you always know he’s going to deliver something good at least. Maybe nothing insane but still solid. And that’s what this is.
PERSONAL FAVOURITES: REDROBIN, SEEUMSAYIN
PERSONAL LEAST FAVOURITE: SHOGUN
Now this is music right here. Leon Thomas is one of the best R&B singers right now, I still remember watching him on Victorious, then hearing about him and realising they were the same person. He deserves all the attention and praise he’s getting. Amazing
Not gonna lie, I enjoyed this quite a lot. It’s an easy listen, a small 6 track EP, a preluxe to his upcoming album. The vibe is very chill and relaxed. I will say though, Earl Sweatshirt is the GOAT of MISSING EVERY TIME! 🔥 HE CAN NEVER NOT MISS
Stand out tracks: TELEPATHY LOVE, INTERSTELLAR
Least favourite track: PROUD OF ME
Daniel Caesar yet again delivers a compelling story, full of psychedelic emotions, pain, love and world-building. Good album
